The mugs are ceramic and include illustrations of tidepool denizens including a sea star, anemone, mussel, crabs and more! They're perfect for a lovely cup of tea while looking out the window at the coastal storms. The cups are sturdy and glossy with a vivid print that'll withstand the microwave and dishwasher (although to keep mine bright as they day they arrived, I hand-wash them). These cups are made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver them to you.
